OVER VIEW
For UG students, everyday there is case discussion in clinical postings. Monthly PG teaching schedule to present topics, discussed with faculty members and weekly journal clubs, histopathology classes are conducted.
PGs attend conferences, present papers & posters under guidance of faculty members. Referred cases from other departments are discussed with PGs. Various procedures done are biopsies, dermabrasion, electrocautery, microdermabrasion, phototherapy, patch test, lasers, vitiligo surgeries and therapeutic office procedures. PUMA is available.
The staff attend weekly rural camps, chief minister health camps and other mega camps. The special clinics conducted on weekly basis are Vitiligo clinic, contact dermatitis, Psoriasis, genetic tissue disorders.

- To be a multi-speciality cosmetology unit with laser advances.
- Provide high quality dermatologic care with compassion and professionalism.
- To provide specialized medical and surgical care to patients with diseases of the skin, hair and nails.
- Introduce, develop and refine the clinical skills necessary for dermatology residents to master the art and science of dermatology.
- To train students and other physicians in basic care of patients with skin disease.
- To develop new knowledge that advances skin biology through basic research.
- To help provide care to those with limited access to dermatologic care.
