Department of Radiology VMMC, Karaikal conducted VIN RADS CME 2024 on the theme Emergency Imaging on 28th November 2024 under the guidance of Our Dean Prof. Dr.C.Gunasekaran. Dr. PRAVEEN KUMAR CHINNIAH, Consultant Radiologist from Apollo Speciality Hospital, Trichy and Dr. PRABHU, MD., FRCR. Professor and HOD, Department of Radiology from Aarupadai Veedu Medical College, Pondicherry were invited as Guest Speakers. The Guest Speakers delivered lectures on topics 1. Role of Neuro and Pediatric Emergencies, MSK Orthopedic Emergencies and 2. Role of Emergency Imaging in Chest and Abdomen. Our Dean Prof. Dr.C.Gunasekaran Inagurated the CME by lighting the ceremonial lamp and delivere his Inaugural address. Prof.Dr. Vijay Sahadevan , Head of Radiology Department delivered the Welcome address followed by felicitation address delivered by Prof. Dr.G. Vijayakumar Nair, Vice Principal and Head Dept of Forensic Medicine, Medical Superintendent Prof.Dr. K.Cheran and Resident Medical Officer Dr. G.Sriram, Dr.Kanishka Patil Associate Professor, Department of Radiology delivered the Vote of Thanks. The event concluded with National Anthem.
