World Sight Day is globally celeberated on 2nd Thursday of October every year.On the eve of world signt day, Department of Ophthalmology, Vinayaka Missions Medical College & Hospital Karaikal conducted VIN VISION 2024 CME on 17th October 2024 at Lecture Theatre IV New Academic Building under the guidance of Our Dean Prof. Dr.C.Gunasekaran and with the help of Management and Administration. Dr. A. Sivarajan Professor & Head Department of Radiology, Sri Venkateshwara Medical College Hospital, Puducherry & Dr. Priya, Neuro-Ophthalmologist,Meenakshi Eye Care, Karaikal are invited as Guest Speakers. Dr K.Kalaivani , Professor & Head Department of Ophthalmology welcomed all the dignitaries. CME Started with Tamil thai vazhthu. Our Dean Prof. Dr. C. Gunasekaran Sir Inaugurated the CME by lighting the Kuthuvilaku and delivered Inaugural address. Felicitation address given by Dr. G. Vijayakumar Nair ,Vice Principal and Medical Superintendent Dr. K.Cheran. Followed by Guest Lecture -I by. Dr. Priya under the Topic Interpretation of Visual Field Defects & Guest Lecture -II by Dr. A. Sivarajan under the topic Imaging in Ophthalmology. Finally Dr. Dhana Lakshmi DNB (OPTHAL) Thanked all.
