On the eve of World Voice Day - on 16th April Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Vinayaka Missions Medical College & Hospital Karaikal conducted VINENT CME on 16th April 2024 at Lecture Theatre IV New Academic Building. Prof.Dr.Kannappan Alagappan MS.ENT, Consultant ENT Surgeon, Palani Andavar Nusing Home-Madurai and Dr.Manoj Kumar MS.ENT,Managing Director,Manoj ENT Speciality Centre-Trichy were invited as Guest Speakers. CME Started with Tamil Thai vazhthu. Our Dean Prof. Dr. C. Gunasekaran Inaugurated the CME by Lighting the ceremonial lamp and delivered his Inaugural address. Prof.Dr.V.Srinivasa, Professor & Head Department of ENT welcomed the dignitaries. Felicitation address was given by Prof. Dr.G. Vijayakumar Nair, Vice Principal & Resident Medical Officer Prof.Dr. G. Sriram. Prizes also distributed to the winners of singing competition held on 8th April 2024.The event was followd by the Guest Lectures. Lecture-I was delivered by Dr.Kannappan Alagappan MS.ENT, Consultant ENT Surgeon, Palani Andavar Nursing Home-Madurai under the Topic SILENT SCREAMS : STRUGGLE OF LOSING YOUR VOICE and Lecture-II was delivered by Dr.Manoj Kumar MS.ENT,Managing Director, Manoj ENT Speciality Centre-Trichy under the Topic WHISPERS OF HOPE : THE PATH OF REGAINING YOUR VOICE. The event concluded with Vote of Thanks by Prof.Dr.A.Ganesh Bala of ENT Department.
