On the eve of International Women’s Day on 8th March 2024 Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Vinayaka Missions Medical College & Hospital Karaikal conducted CME ON PCOS on 8th March 2024 at Lecture Theatre III New Academic Building Dr. P. Shanthi Priya Consultant OBG Shree Venkateswar Hospital-Thiruvarur & Dr. Nandhini Saravanan Associate Professor Jipmer-Karaikal were invited as Guest Speakers. CME Started with Tamil Thai vazhthu. Our Dean Prof. Dr. C. Gunasekaran Sir Inaugurated the CME by Lighting the Ceremonial Lamp and delivered his Inaugural address. Dr.Geetha Krishnamoorthy Professor & Head Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology welcomed all the dignitaries. Felicitation address was given by our Vice Principal, Prof. Dr.G. Vijayakumar Nair & Medical Superintendent Prof.Dr. K.Cheran and Research Director Prof.Dr.G.Ambujam. The event followed by Guest Lectures by Dr. P. Shanthi Priya , Consultant OBG Shre Venkateswar Hospital-Thiruvarur under the Topic -Diagnostic Workshop in PCOS & in Implication On Fertility. Dr. Nandhini Saravanan Associate Professor Jipmer- Karaikal spoke about the- Recent Trends in PCOS. Finally Dr.Sindhuja Associate Professor , Dept. Of Obstetrics & Gynaecology thanked all the dignitaries.
